The Vollmer V5H84 features an aviator cockpit style dial (Type A) with SuperLuminova treated hands and hour markers. It is a beautifully executed WWII style German aviator watch with a Swiss made automatic movement. It's made in Germany by Aristo-Vollmer. It includes a sapphire crystal, mineral display back, a solid 38.5mm titanium case, and a 25 jewel Swiss/ETA automatic movement (with hack set, and date window). It is fitted with a brown leather aviator strap with a buckle closure.

    Well-made, very light, small issues with dial

    I bought this watch because of the specs, the size and the movement. When it arrived, I noticed that the lume on the numerals was a lot greener than it looked in the photos. Also, the Vollmer name on the dial seems to be off-center. Maybe that's just my OCD. This watch is also available in an Arista version, and they may have better quality control on those dials since I assume they make more of them. The titanium case looks good, almost like a bead blasted finish. It is very light, surprisingly so, so be aware of that. Of course that's a feature of titanium so I shouldn't have been surprised, but I like my watches a little heavier. I requested a return, and got a quick reply with no hassles. Very impressed with the service and would definitely order another piece from Long Island Watch.
