I recently purchased a watch for my boyfriend's birthday. The watch came quickly and was beautifully presented. Unfortunately we had an issue with the keeper strap on the watch. However, Marc replaced the strap and had a replacement out in the mail the same day. I would recommend Island Watch Company to friends and would happily purchase from them again. Received watch in only 9 days to Cebu, carefully wrapped and in perfect condition. It is even more beautiful than in the internet views. I love the blue hands and the Bauhaus dial. The open heart also adds interest to a simple watch. The strap was not much but no matter because I have large wrists anyway and had an XL Piero Magli waiitng. Thank you Marc for a great purchase. The rotor is a lttle noisy but apparently this is a feature of Orient watches because the arm runs on ball bearings so spins easier and has the Seiko magic lever. This sensitivity of the self-wind makes the charging time very fast and efficient.

Love this watch. The blue hands really pop in the right light, otherwise they are subtle and unobtrusive. The open heart is mesmerizing while not distracting from the simplicity of the face.

Received my white dialed Orient Esteem today and was very pleased with the looks of this watch. This is my first open heart watch and I really like it. It has a very clean and uncluttered dial that is very easy to read. Sometimes simplicity has the most beauty in a watch. Love the blue hour, minute and second hands. I'm not really a fan of leather, especially here in Hawaii where it's very humid. Still wanted to keep an elegant but casual look so I swapped it out with the newer Perlon, "Braided Nylon Straps". Got a Perlon strap in Blue / Black weave and also one in Black / Grey weave and this really pairs well with the Orient Esteem. A Nato strap is too bulky and just did not look right with this watch. Once again, Island Watch provided a quick response and shipping. Can't go wrong buying from this company. Very satisfied with this purchase.

The watch is as beautiful as presented. It arrived well packaged. It's my second Orient brand watch, but it won't be my last. I had a good experience with Long Island Watch.
