Seiko Stargate Automatic Dive Watch with Bracelet and White Dial #SKZ323K1

This is our first first second purchase from Island and they have both been flawless. My wife actually ordered the first one and had a great experience working with Mark. My experience was the same. The watch arrived sooner than expected and I'm very happy with my new Stargate. I plan to continue to shop at Island.

I purchased the watch with the intention of replacing the metal bracelet with a polyurethane Seiko 22 mm band. White dial Seiko divers watches are not very common. What made the buying experience very pleasant was buying it from Long Island Watch. I got the watch in 2 days!

The watch is great. Its big and heavy, but not overpowering or gaudy. It certainly feels like a well-made, high quality piece as you wear it. I've already received several compliments. The watch has a rugged, sporty look, but is dressy enough to wear to work. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

I had wanted one of these when they came out, but never got around to buying one. Then, as he had with the Seiko Spork (which I also purchased from Island Watch), Marc pulled a rabbit out of his hat and put some Stargates in circulation. I think I bought one the first day I saw Marc's ad. I was not disappointed. The Stargate, at 42 - 43 mm, falls right into my sweet spot for size. It has a unique case design where the entire case sweeps around your wrist like you put it on hot and it melted in place. The case is asymmetrical, with the crown protected by the extra bulge at the 4:00 position. Altogether, it is a unique and comfortable presentation. The dial is multilayered, which gives it good depth, yet the watch itself is thin enough to comfortably fit under your shirt cuff. This, combined with the baton-style hour markers, makes the Stargate suitable for wearing with, well, a suit. Altogether a great buy at a good price with Island Watch's traditional fast delivery.
