AVI-8 x Islander Limited Edition F-14 HUD Automatic with Gradient Charcoal Dial #AV-4142-LIW02

Introducing the AVI-8 x Islander F-14 Tomcat Limited Edition HUD watch. A true piece of aviation history on Long Island, the F-14 was manufactured by Grumman in Bethpage, just a few miles from where we are located. Everyone on Long Island in the 70's and 80's either worked at Grumman, or knew someone that did. The F-14 was manufactured from 1969 until 1991, and officially retired from the US Navy's fleet in 2006. The plane might best be known for making an appearance in both Top Gun movies.

Islander pays tribute to this amazing watch by joining forces with AVI-8, and producing a limited edition set of 3 models (just 100 units each), with a dial mimicking the F-14D Tomcat HUD (heads up display). The three versions are:
