Bertucci was commissioned directly by the crew of the USS Nimitz to build their 50th Anniversary watch celebrating 1975 to 2025 of defending America. The Nimitz is one of only 11 US Nuclear Aircraft Carriers in service. It continues to support the mission of the warfighter 50 years after first sailing.

Two versions were made for the crew and pilots on-board. The black dial version was made for the officers, and blue for the sailors. Bertucci produced some overage, and Long Island Watch was able to purchase the whole lot of them to offer them for sale. Once they are gone, they are gone for good!
