Dive Style Watches (200m Water Resistance)
Note:
This watch is not an ISO 6425 rated diver, though does have a rated water resistance of 200M. Thus is not recommended to use this watch for SCUBA unless used as a backup to a dive watch or dive computer or slate.
Your watch is equipped with an automatic movement that gets energy from the motion of your wrist. It is also possible to use the crown to manually wind your watch. When fully wound, the watch will have a power reserve of about 40 hours. If the watch is left idle, or not wound, for more than 40 hours, it will stop and you will need to restart it.
Starting and setting the watch:
1) Unscrew the crown by turning it counter-clockwise. Unscrew until it ‘pops’ out.
2) Turn the crown clockwise to wind it. You will feel resistance as the spring winds. This is normal. Once it has sufficient winding, the seconds hand will start moving. You can continue to wind for a few more turns.
3) Pull the crown out two clicks. Rotate the crown clockwise, and the time will advance. To determine AM/PM, rotate through 12:00. If the date changes, then the watch is now in AM. Set the time to the local time. NOTE: the day is in two languages, and will flip twice; once around 1am and again around 3am to come back to the chosen language.
4) Push the crown in one click (or push all the way in, and pull out one click). Rotate clockwise to change the day, counter-clockwise to change the date. You also set the 2nd language in this fashion.
NOTE: DO NOT CHANGE THE DAY-DATE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9PM AND 3AM. DOING SO WILL DAMAGE THE INTERNAL DAY/DATE SET AND VOID THE WARRANTY
If you need to set the day/date within this ‘danger zone’, first set time outside this danger zone, and then set the day-date, then re-adjust the time
5) Push the crown and turn clockwise until it is fully seated.
6) Deviation in timekeeping is expected in automatic-mechanical movements, and time adjustments weekly are expected. If you need to adjust the time, follow the above steps to change the time.
Before using in any water activity, ensure the crown is fully screwed down.
After use in salt water, it is recommended to rinse the watch in fresh water thoroughly, and turn the bezel, to work out any salt-sediment that may have become lodged in it.

Amerigraph
Amerigraph (100m Water Resistance)
Your watch is equipped with a precision quartz movement that is powered by a battery. It will run for approximately 3 years before needing replacement. When it does, please seek out a professional to assist with the replacement.
Setting the watch:
1) Pull out the crown. The watch will stop.
2) Rotate the crown counterclockwise to set to the current time. Be sure to set AM/PM correctly by referencing the subdial at the 3:00 position. There is no date display.
3) Push the crown in to start the watch.
Using the chronograph:
1) Depress the top pusher and release. The elapsed seconds at the bottom of the dial will start to move. After 60 seconds, the elapsed minutes counter at the 9:00 position will increment one tick.
2) Depress the top pusher to stop the chronograph. You can start/stop the chronograph as many times as you wish. The watch will time up to 60 minutes of elapsed time.
3) To reset the chronograph back to zero, ensure it is stopped and depress the bottom button and release. The hands will go back to zero.
Resetting hands (after battery change or other event):
1) After a battery change, or major shock event, the elapsed seconds and minutes counters can become dislodged from their zero position. To re-zero them, pull the crown out to the time setting position.
2) While the crown is out, depress the top button and release to move the elapsed minutes hand one tick, or hold for faster movement.
3) While the crown is out, depress the bottom button and release to move the elapsed seconds hand one tick, or hold for faster movement.
4) When complete, push the crown back in to re-start the watch.
Before using in any activity where the watch might get wet, ensure the crown is fully seated.
While these watches are rated at 100 meters water resistance, we don't recommend wearing it for swimming or diving.

Mecha-Quartz (100m Water Resistance)
Your watch is equipped with a precision mecha-quartz movement that is powered by a battery. It will run for approximately 3 years before needing replacement. When it does, please seek out a professional to assist with the replacement.
Setting the watch:
1) Unscrew the crown by turning it counterclockwise. Pull out the crown two clicks.
2) Rotate the crown clockwise to set to the current time. Be sure to set AM/PM correctly by referencing the subdial at the 3:00 position. There is no date display.
3) Push the crown in and rotate the crown clockwise to re-seat it to ensure water resistance.
Using the chronograph:
1) Depress the top pusher and release. Since it is mechanical, it will require some force. The elapsed seconds is the large seconds hand, and will start running. After one minute, the counter on the left will have moved one position. Note it is a gradual moving, not a 'snap'.
Again, it will require some force as it is mechanical.
4) Never operate the chronograph buttons in a wet environment.

Instructions for Traveler GMT (Miyota 9075) Watches
Starting and setting the watch:
1) Unscrew the crown by turning it counter-clockwise. Unscrew until it ‘pops’ out.
2) Turn the crown clockwise to wind it. You will feel resistance as the spring winds. This is normal. Once it has sufficient winding, the seconds hand will start moving. You can continue to wind for a few more turns.
3) Pull the crown out two clicks. Rotate the crownclockwise. In this step, you are setting the GMT hand. This hand rotates ONCE per day. Set the hand according to your home time zone in 24 hour time format, and also set the minute hand correctly. For example, if it is 215pm locally, you will set the GMT hand to just past 14:00 (2:00pm) and rotate a bit more so the minute hand points to 15 minutes.
4) Push the crown in one click (or push all the way in, and pull out one click). When you rotate the crown, clockwise or counter clockwise, the hour hand will 'click' in one hour increments. You can go forwards or backwards. Set the date by rotating the hour hand through midnight as many times as required. Note that if you go backwards, the date will decrease. This is OK! Set the hour hand correctly, making sure AM/PM is correct.
5) Push the crown and turn clockwise until it is fully seated.
6) Deviation in timekeeping is expected in automatic-mechanical movements, and time adjustments weekly are expected. If you need to adjust the time, follow the above steps to change the time.
7) When traveling and a new time zone is required, follow step 4 above to move the hour hand forwards or backwards as required. The date will change as needed. The GMT hand will continue to point to your home time zone. (If you are an aviator, you may wish to set the GMT hand to UTC instead). Before using in any water activity, ensure the crown is fully screwed down.
After use in salt water, it is recommended to rinse the watch in fresh water thoroughly, and turn the bezel, to work out any salt-sediment that may have become lodged in it.
