The DC82 is a new chronograph based on the DAMASKO chronograph caliber C51-2 (Reglage in TOP performance), 50 hours power reserve that is a hand-built and very precise. The main criterion of this new design was to significantly increase the ease of readability of the chronograph functions.

Damasko focused on the creation of a 60 stop-minute display that reads from the center of the dial (as opposed to a 60-minute sub-dial). Thanks to this new patented design, it is possible to record stop times more easily, accurately and quickly. It offers two key advantages: 60 minutes (instead of the usual 30 minutes) are counted in a hand revolution and the allocated minute-stop scale can be seen across the full face diameter.

The DC72 has a 41mm stainless steel case, a screw-down crown, and a robust screw-in case back. The case is instrument steel, surface hardened, case back screwed, crown screwed into case according to the "DAMASKO System" with crown protection, waterproof 10bar / 100meters, low pressure resistant, functional reliabilty testet and certified at negative pressure and acceleration according to military standard.

The hands and hour markers are treated with SuperLuminova X1 GL C1 white 10 luminous material. It comes on a padded black leather strap with contrasting white stitching. Powering the watch is the new C51-2 movement with 50 hours of power reserve. A double dome, anti-reflective sapphire crystal provides a clear view of the time.
