The Duxot x Islander Mechaquartz Atlantica delivers everything you want in a dive watch, with the convenience of a quartz movement. Do not let the movement of the seconds hand fool you, though. Thanks to the TMI (Seiko) VH31 movement, the seconds hand actually moves at a rate of 4 ticks per second, giving the illusion of an automatic. The "Electronic" text under the dial branding is a subtle hint to the technology that lies underneath.

This is a feature packed model, that is priced extremely well! It has upgrades you do not expect to find at this price level. It boasts a sapphire crystal that will resist scratching, as well as a screw down crown that ensures the full 200 meters of water resistance. For low light viewing, the watch uses Superluminova C3 luminous paint. Securing the watch to your wrist is a multi-link polished and brushed bracelet, that tapers from 22mm at the lug to 20mm at the 3 position micro-adjust clasp. The bracelet is sized with pins (no collars), and uses hollow (folded) endlinks.

The bezel is a 120 click uni-directional ratcheting. The insert is made of aluminum.
