Graf Zeppelin Nordstern Automatic Watch with Power Reserve and Sapphire Crystal #7560-1

This new Graf Zeppelin Nordstern models watch celebrates the adventurous journey of the famous airship LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin to the North Pole in 1931. The snow white dial is meant to be reminiscent of the beautiful polar landscapes. The watch features Brequet-style black hour and minute hands with a 24-hour sub-dial shown at 6:00 and a power reserve meter type dial at 12:00. The polished stainless steel case has an elegant coin-edge and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. The case measures 41mm in diameter. Inside is a modified 26-jewel Citizen self-winding movement with a silver rotor that is viewable via an crystal exhibition case back.

It is a magnificent watch that gives you the option of 24-hour military time and it lets you see the amount of power available in the automatic movement. Fully wound the watch can operate up to 42 hours. A date window is at 3:00 and it comes on a hand made leather strap with contrasting stitching.

Great Experience All Around....

I had never bought a watch online so the notion of doing so was a bit nerve-racking. I can tell you that my entire customer experience was great. I initially bought a watch and it arrived in a matter of days, which was very impressive. Due to a nice packing job, it arrived in perfect shape. When I put the watch on, it just didn't feel right in terms of styling and what I was looking for. Nothing against the watch or Island, chalk it up to online shopping I suppose. The return process was SIMPLE. I obtained my return code ID from Marc at Island and sent it back UPS. I was credited back in a handful of days. I turned right around and purchased another watch through Island that caught my eye. Just as the first purchase, the second watch came in a matter of days, nicely packaged for shipping protection. I highly recommend purchasing a watch a through Island. Great value, quality and service. I know I will be coming back for more.
