    This piece exceeded my expectations. You can definitely tell it is not made cheaply. It has a good solid feel, and the dial has great detail. The dial looks more like a metallic cream color, but overall it has a nice vintage feel to it. Going to pair this with a vintage style black leather band.

    To start with its a beautiful watch. Very easy to read both dials and the date. There are no hour numbers on the large face but it really does not make a difference when telling the time. It's keeping time perfectly. Service from Island was excellent. Totaly recommend both the watch and Island.

    my new son in law loved the watch. I was happy with the product for the price. I otherwise would not buy it for myself after seeing it.
