The new Hemel HD (Hemel Diver) with deep black dial takes the brand into the sea - 300 meters deep to be exact. The 42mm black PVD watch case sports a rounded sapphire bezel insert with C3 lume markings and domed sapphire crystal with a subtle orange hued anti-reflective coating as opposed to the usual blue. Orange is central to the Hemel identity and this cue is repeated in the distinctive hour hand.

Also illuminated with C3 lume are the striking markers and a military stenciled 12 at the top of the sandwiched dial. The case back has an ornate design (two stylized dolphins) that is executed in relief sculpture fashion. There is knurled edging on the screw down crown with a similar pattern found on the edging of the 120 click rotating bezel. The watch is powered by a high-beat (28.8K bph) Miyota 9039 automatic 24-jewel movement with 42 hours of power reserve. A solid steel link black PVD bracelet with deployant clasp and solid, fitted end links complete the design.
