Islander 38mm Automatic Dive Watch with a Mint Green Waffle Dial and Red Accents #ISL-126

This 38mm automatic dive watch has an intriguing waffle dial with a watermelon color scheme. To accent the green dial, a reddish pink color is used on the applied indices as well as on the seconds hand. A date is easily read at 3:00, of course with matching frame. The hour and minute hands are a nice contrasting gun metal color.

Many of our customers have been asking for a 38mm diver for smaller wrists, and the ISL-126 does not disappoint. Besides being smaller in size, and a very cozy 44.5mm lug tip to lug tip, the link bracelet is equipped with negative endlinks. This allows the bracelet to curve easily to your wrist, instead of sticking out (which increases apparent size). The bracelet is solid link, solid endlink and is sized with screws. It is a 20mm lug width, and tapers to 16mm at the clasp.

Inside beats a Seiko NH35, which is a date only automatic movement that supports hand winding and hacking, with a 40 hour power reserve. For a retro design element, we also decided to have the custom oversized signed Islander logo crown at the 3:00 position without crown guards. This allows for easy access to set the time and date as well as manually winding the NH35 movement. To time your dives, or your laundry, the watch is equipped with a 120 click unidirectional ratcheting coin-edge bezel. Atop the bezel is a black ceramic insert with matching coral color triangle accent.

For low light visibility the hands, markers and bezel insert are all done in Super-LumiNova C3 lume. This is a lume that glows green when the lights go down. The dial is protected by a flat sapphire crystal with a blue anti-reflective coating on the underside.

This watch is compatible with SKX013 parts such as bracelets, bezels, bezel inserts, casebacks, hands, crystals, dials and chapter rings.

The caseback is the new Islander embossed pattern.
