Islander x LUMESHOT Glacier GMT Automatic Limited Edition Watch #ISL-295

Introducing the second Islander collaboration with Lume Shot – the Glacier II. It is a limited edition of 200 pieces, and each is individually numbered.

The watch has an angular case with a screw-down crown at 3:00. The case resembles a shrunken Seiko Samurai with a diameter of about 37mm and incredibly compact lug to lug length of 43.6mm. The 14.3mm thickness (to the top of the domed crystal) still maintains plenty of wrist presence. The lugs are drilled for quick and easy strap changes. The case back has a rendering of a glacier on it along with the limited edition number.

Powering the Glacier II is Seiko’s NH34 automatic hacking, hand-winding GMT movement. A date window is present at the 6 o’clock, maintaining the dial’s symmetry. The dial has a texture reminiscent of woodgrain, but when done in white/silver, it takes on an icy appearance.

The watch’s dial glows a cool blue after dark thanks to Super-LumiNova BGW9 on the hands, hour markers, and bezel insert. A stainless steel 24 hour bi-directional GMT bezel is present. Additionally, a 24-hour track is present on the interior of the watch, helping the watch stand out from the pack of traditional GMT fare.

Protecting the dial is a double domed sapphire crystal with plenty of inner anti-reflective coating to protect against scratches while giving the watch a premium look for years to come.

Securing the watch to your wrist is a beefy full stainless steel bracelet with solid links, solid end-links, and an on-the-fly adjustable clasp ensuring a perfect fit at all times.
