The silver hour and minute hands are luminous filled and a date window is shown at 3:00. Inside is a Swiss self-winding movement with a gold plated rotor that is viewable via an exhibition case back.     Bauhaus style at a reasonable price

    Compared to the Max Bill watches by Junghans, with Junkers you get a nice Bauhaus aesthetic and a Swiss movement without the luxury watch price tag. Delivery was fast and the price was fantastic. My experience is that if you find a watch less expensive elsewhere, Long Island Watch will do their best to match the price. In my case they did not just match the price but beat it by a wide margin. This is my second watch from Long Island Watch, the first being the very accurate and inexpensive 60's throwback - The Orient Bambino.
