Junkers Cockpit JU52 Series Pilot Watch with Aviator Instrument Hands #6144-3

Is this a cool watch or what? I love the hands and the entire design ties together nicely. The strap is supple & big enough for my ample wrist. The only issue I have is that the hands are not luminous. The marking on the dial glow nicely, but not the hands. Must be a trade off; spiffy hands or hands that glow. I'll take the spiffy hands. Quite satisfied. The box ain't bad either.

I read a recommendation for Long Island Watches on the Watchgeeks forum and happily found they sold this watch as I had to have it. Amazon won't ship certain brands to New Zealand, including Junkers and Seiko, and we pay exorbitant prices here for imported goods so thanks to the internet we can source products at sensible prices. I can't add anything in this review that hasn't already been stated, but this watch has a very unique look with the hand. colours which really stand out and the leather strap is of high quality. The time/date can be changed with ease without having to take the watch off due to the handsome diamond crown. I softened the strap with leather balm as I do with all my straps and this darkens,softens and waterproofs them. It was well worth the wait for this watch it looks fantastic on the wrist.

Toy or style statement? How about a well made watch with excellent timing and operation. Double heavy leather band, perfect second indexing, and date change. Identical timing with Boulder over three weeks. AND, it's design is soooo cool. The best part, this is Junkers lowest priced watch. More to buy later!

This watch has exceeded my expectations. The Instrument hands make this watch unique, and legible, but because the hands are devoid of lume, the watch is illegible in the dark. The leather strap is superlative. The exposed part of the case is brushed stainless, enhancing the "tool" look of the watch. The caseback is polished, with a beautiful representation of the JU 52 etched into it. The oversized Crown is finely machined, but the watch is thick enough that it does not pinch the wrist. Accordingly, the watch is quite comfortable. The only criticism that I have stems from the fact (no pun intended) that the second hand does not line up, precisely, with the minute indices. Given my obsessive nature, that is the only thing which keeps me from giving this watch a five star rating; but that having been said, I would rate the overall quality (especially for the price) as excellent, and I would not hesitate in recomending this watch (or the Junkers brand) to others.

My husband has been coveting this watch for years. It was a surprise to find that when it arrived, it looks much nicer (bigger face, bolder features, really classy detailing) than either of us thought from the pictures. We both love it!

Inspired by the Junkers Ju 52 instrument panel this is the perfect watch if you are an aviation buff and classic car fan. I wear this watch when I drive my 1958 MGA and enjoy the cool blue luminous dial at dark hours.

This is absolutely my most favorite watch! The looks/craftsmanship are superb and it keeps excellent time (checked regularly with the USNO official time). I actually got a first-hand tour of the JU-52 (D-AQUI) that inspired this watch when she came to Atlanta many years ago - so I feel a special connection. I am also very impressed with Island Watch's other collections as well as their efficient check-out and quick shipping. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a unique selection of watches.
