This Laco model was inspired by the original WWII Laco Luftwaffe Pilot watches. Inside is a mechanical (hand winding) Swiss ETA 2804.2 movement that is viewable through an exhibition window case back. Run time on a full wind is over 40 hours. The blue hands and type B dial markers are treated with SuperLuminova C3 for excellent readability in the dark. Like the original WWII Laco watches, there is no date window. This model features a domed mineral crystal that gives the watch a richer look on the wrist. The stainless steel case has been sand blasted for a matte finish to minimize light reflection. The lugs on this case are quite robust and more like those used on a dive watch. Includes a really nice thick black leather strap with rivets and contrasting stitching. Only a very small quantity of this model are available - German Laco site says just 15 are available for sale.
