Scratch and Dent - Laco Zurich 1925 Pilot Classic Analog Quartz Watch with Day and Date #861806

This is a scratch and dent Laco Zurich quartz watch. It didn't run. It was sent back to Germany and the movement was replaced. Like new otherwise.

The new Laco Zurich 1925 Pilot Classic Analog Quartz model features an open day window under the 12:00 position on the dial and a date window at the standard 3:00 position. The 42mm case design houses an accurate Swiss quartz movement and black Type B dial. The hands and dial markers are treated with SuperLuminova for excellent readability in the dark. Includes a really nice brown leather strap with rivets like those used in WWII. Comes in a zippered soft case that could double as a travel case.

I didn't know I needed a new watch, until I saw somebody reviewing a pilot watch on YouTube. I started looking at other watch videos and ran across the Long Island Watch YouTube channel. From there I fell in love with the B dial pilot watches, especially the Laco brand! I love the look and the history of the pilot watches. My only complaint about this watch would be that the band is much lighter in color than in the pictures. It looks more like a "honey" brown color. The band strap loops that came on it are the darker brown color that I was expecting. Maybe the band will darken up over time? I'm sure I will find out, because I'll be wearing this watch every day! It definitely stands out.
