As the fifth special edition of our MISSION 2025 – our journey to the 100th anniversary – the EDITION 99 offers a unique opportunity to own a model from our basic collection featuring the distinctive characteristics of the Original pilot watches and their historic inspirations. Following the successful editions of recent years, including a navy watch, sport watch, Original pilot watch, and chronograph, this is the final edition before our anniversary year. Its unique combination of features makes it an unparalleled chance to acquire these premium details at an outstanding price-performance ratio.
True to its name, the EDITION 99 is strictly limited to just 99 pieces. Each watch is engraved with its individual serial number on the case back – a visible mark of true exclusivity.

Thermally blued hands – elegance meets durability.
Another detail reflecting the roots of the Original collection: thermally blued hands. Heating the metal to approximately 300°C creates a thin oxide layer that gives the hands their characteristic deep blue hue – a color that exudes sophistication while providing protection against corrosion. Meticulously crafted, this process imbues the hands with a touch of timeless elegance and durability, echoing the tradition of historic pilot watches.

Tactile crown and reliable movement
The crown of this edition not only stands out with the engraved edition number but also with its particularly tactile design – a detail that connoisseurs will instantly appreciate. It is larger and more grippable than that of the Basic series, yet more understated than the Original series – perfectly balanced for precise operation.

Precision is ensured by the automatic Laco 2S movement, based on the reliable Miyota 82S0, is visible through the sapphire crystal case back. With a power reserve of at least 42 hours and a stop-seconds function, it is a dependable companion. The optional upgrade to the Laco 31 caliber (based on Miyota 8315) offers a 60-hour power reserve and thermally blued screws.

Clear dial - powerful luminosity
The dial of the EDITION 99 is designed in the classic type B style, incorporating another detail from historic observation watches: only every second numeral – the even numbers – is coated with Super-LumiNova C3.

Inspired by the PRO and Original models, the luminous material appears more subtle and less greenish in daylight, blending seamlessly into the design. In the dark, it unfolds its full luminosity, ensuring optimal legibility and an authentic look, staying true to the traditional functionality of pilot’s watches.
