This limited-edition collectable watch draws its name from the official U.S. Air Force song's opening line –Off we go into the wild blue yonder– capturing both history and high performance in one mission-ready design.

The Blue Yonder features a durable stainless steel case, high-torque quartz movement, and a bi-directional 12-hour bezel – all engineered to endure the rigors of high altitude.

Finished in a striking blue colorway, the Blue Yonder is color-matched with our new blue FKM 3-piece rubber strap kit and comes with a complimentary blue travel pouch.

With the ETA F06.412 HeavyDrive-PreciDrive Quartz movement, the 41mm Blue Yonder Steel Navigator with Date (SSNAV-D) stands out with unmatched precision, featuring accuracy of ± 10s/year. This model also exhibits a striking blue dial and bezel – a first for any Steel Navigator since the initial 1980’s launch. The Blue Yonder SSNAV-D is built from 316L surgical-grade stainless steel with a screw-down crown and synthetic sapphire crystal, making it operational even when submerged to 10ATM (100m/300ft).

The case design features enhanced lug tapering compared to the original from 1986, providing a comfortable fit that makes the Blue Yonder ideal for all-day wear. The increased height of the 12HR GMT bezel is specially designed to provide improved grip, allowing pilots to easily handle the bi-directional rotation while wearing flight gloves. The bezel also features inset-painted indices, enhancing the legibility of the markings.

Self-contained tritium gas tubes on the hour markers, and minute/hour hands ensures constant visibility in low-light environments. Tritium tubes are self-illuminating, containing an isotope of hydrogen that won't dull down over time like photo-luminescent paint, meaning the watch will remain fully legible at all hours.

Protecting the Blue Yonder’s dial is a highly durable sapphire crystal. This allows the watch to withstand extreme changes in air pressure – necessary for the watch’s use by military pilots at altitudes of over 35,000ft – while also providing scratch resistance and pristine clarity.

Marathon Navigator (NAV) watches were originally developed in partnership with Kelly Air Force Base in 1986. The NAV Series consists of timepieces engineered to stand up to the rigours of high-altitude flight — and even possible ejection from a fighter aircraft.

Featuring an iconic asymmetrical case design available in both 316L stainless steel and high-impact composite fibreshell for ultra-light durability, each watch is equipped with a sapphire crystal tolerant of rapid changes in air pressure; a continuously glowing dial; and a bi-directional bezel with the ability to track a second time zone.
