This is the highly anticipated new Orient USA #AA0200AB watch that is powered by a 22-jewel, Caliber F69 automatic movement. This new movement is self-winding, hand winding, and it hacks (second hand halts when you pull out the crown). In addition to the new improved movement, the new #AA0200AB watch has an improved uni-directional bezel with 120 clicks, and it has a new case design (gone is the quick day pusher at 2:00) for a trimmer, more simplified look. The day and date window is the same, but you adjust both via the screw-down crown. The case size comes in at 41.5mm in diameter and it's about 13mm thick. As always, you get an excellent stainless steel bracelet with a smooth operating push-button deployant clasp (a hallmark of Orient watches).

The original and #AA0200AB USA was an all-time best seller for Orient. The new movement, 120-Click bezel and sapphire crystal has already made this Orient a huge success. It is a very popular watch.

    Really good watch with few drawbacks

    I like this watch more than the Seiko divers. I just like the aesthetics more; the dial, indices, it even seems to be less thick than the 007. It does gain about 30 seconds a day, and I find the crown hard to pull out, especially trying to get it to the day/date position. But for the price its great. Came on time and well packaged. But it has quickly become my everyday watch.

    I got the Orient Mako USA II in black. The matte black dial and bold markers are unique to this design and very classy while sporty. It looks much more expensive than it is. The case finish is excellent. Hand-winding and hacking are great. Accuracy is great on mine and I can sit the watch down for 2 days and it's still running when I pick it back up. Bezel action can be a bit tight. Marc exchanged my first order due to a very stiff bezel and the replacement is great.

    This watch is of exceptional value. I enjoy wearing it and the bracelet is easily adjusted and comfortable. I understand why Seiko wanted Orient. The watch is very accurate and well built. It is a good looking watch, in both the beautiful blue and black. Delivery and packaging were excellent and I appreciate the top drawer customer service from Marc.

    Ray II upgrade

    I've had a Ray II for 3-4 years now & it's still one of my favorite daily wear watches. This Mako USA II is a more finished version of the Ray. The day & date are centered in the window(the Ray's a little off) & I like the rectangular hour markers better than the Ray's round ones. The Mako's bracelet looks better to me & doesn't pull hair so more comfortable to wear. The lume is good, very bright but could last a little longer. Accurate to + 5 - 10 seconds a day averaged over a couple of weeks; well within standards & typical of my experience with Orients. I seem to have a new favorite & at a great price; Thanks Marc!
