Orient USA II Black Dial Automatic Dive Watch with Sapphire Crystal #AA0200AB

This is the highly anticipated new Orient USA #AA0200AB watch that is powered by a 22-jewel, Caliber F69 automatic movement. This new movement is self-winding, hand winding, and it hacks (second hand halts when you pull out the crown). In addition to the new improved movement, the new #AA0200AB watch has an improved uni-directional bezel with 120 clicks, and it has a new case design (gone is the quick day pusher at 2:00) for a trimmer, more simplified look. The day and date window is the same, but you adjust both via the screw-down crown. The case size comes in at 41.5mm in diameter and it's about 13mm thick. As always, you get an excellent stainless steel bracelet with a smooth operating push-button deployant clasp (a hallmark of Orient watches).

The original and #AA0200AB USA was an all-time best seller for Orient. The new movement, 120-Click bezel and sapphire crystal has already made this Orient a huge success. It is a very popular watch.

The bezel action is very stiff and hard to turn on mine. But other than that I really like it.

I have been following the Island Watch YouTube channel for a couple of years and am thankful to have learned so much about automatic watches from Marc's "Watch and Learns." I just picked up this watch at LIW's pre-Black Friday sale. It's a beauty. Perfect size, beautiful design, excellent build-quality (sapphire crystal, solid end-links). At the sale price of $199, it's an absolute steal, but it's worth LIW's normal price. I purchased the white-dial version from Orient USA 6 months ago (well before LIW started carrying this model), and it was well worth it. As usual, LIW's packing and shipment were first-class; the watch arrived in no time. Couldn't ask for a better customer experience!
