Orient Blue Automatic Dive Watch on a Bracelet #CEM65002D

I have enjoyed this watch. Easy to read. Dome sapphire, good lume. 44mm worked is a good size for a squared watch design. This has moved into my rotation. Timely shipping and always good service.

I thought I was shipped a defective watch and Marc offered to replace it, no questions asked. Turns out the Burtucci was fine and I couldn't be happier.

Overall, this watch is good. Domed sapphire crystal is the highlight. The white hands look really good. I do think that this watch is too big in every aspect. 44mm square case. 26mm(!!!) strap. Who the heck has 26mm straps? The supplied strap is STIFF. I've washed it several times and it's starting to soften up but, daggum! The undersides of the lugs are sharp and can be uncomfortable if you don't round them off. The lume could be better. Maybe add a few more layers. The wording on the bottom of the dial is a bit much, in my opinion. Model number: put it on the caseback. Swiss Mov't: that's cool. Lithium: who cares? Sapphire: put it on the caseback. If you want to play Rambo, and don't have the dough for an Arnie, get this watch. Everyone will know you're a big bad manly man

This is my 3rd Orient, and my favorite. All three have come from LIW, and I highly recommend their products and service. (My watch is a Blue Mako, not a Blue Ray as the page heading says.)

After looking at other watches of this type, I am glad I selected the Orient Blue. I was also happy with Island Watch for helping me with my selection. I will be back for other watches.
