The new Orient EM6500BB is nick named the Ray. It is similar to the Orient Mako series but the Ray has stronger (i.e. brighter) luminous material on the hour markers and hands. It comes with a black dial, black 60 click uni-directional dive bezel, 21-jewel automatic movement, a quick set day and date, screw down crown, and a superb black rubber dive strap with a dolphin logo.

    Love this dive watch. Build quality is excellent and finish is amazing. I was going to switch to a nato strap, but the stock rubber band feels great and looks good. you can't go wrong with this watch!

    Super looking watch and it is keeping very good time. Running about 5 seconds slow after 3 days. Couldn't ask for better service from Island Watch. I'll never buy another watch elsewhere.

    7 day accuracy review. Gaining 9 seconds a day. That is excellent for a mechanical watch. It looks very nice and the movement is smooth.

    Quality diver style at great price!

    For $105, its hard to beat. Non hacking movement but easy date set. The movement seems reliable and efficient. My only real complaint is with the bezel. It is hard to operate when wet, at this price though, it is hard to fault this watch too much. Great service from Island Watch.

    I truly believe that you can not get a better made watch at this price point. Probably next step up is a Seiko (at $100 more). Replaced the strap with the Toscana Black Silicone Rubber Rally Watch Band, which makes the watch look six times what the going price is. Will defiantly return to purchase more Orient Watches from Island Watch.

    Item shipped quickly, e.g. next day, and received in perfect order. Great looking watch and keeps very good time. Has maybe lost only 20 seconds in over two weeks.
