Orient Ray Blue Dial 21-Jewel Automatic Dive Watch on Rubber Strap #EM6500CD

The new Orient EM6500CD is nick named the Ray. It is similar to the Orient Mako series but the Ray has stronger (i.e. brighter) luminous material on the hour markers and hands. It comes with a blue dial, a blue 60 click uni-directional dive bezel, 21-jewel automatic movement, a quick set day and date, screw down crown, and a superb black rubber dive strap with a dolphin logo.

i bought this for my 13 yo son. the dial looks great. the blue dial has great color and sunburst shine. the lume is excellent. initially was running +22 sec / day, but after 2 weeks it has settled down to about +2-5 sec / day. excellent accuracy. superb value. thx

Gorgeous watch, horrible strap

Received the watch very fast and without any trouble. The Blue Ray itself is awesome, I love the blue dial as so many others do. The strap however is another story. Way too long perhaps to be worn outside a wetsuit and with the horrible dolphins logo. My only concern is that the watch is too slow, loosing up to 20 seconds in a day. I hope this will resolve itself with time on the wrist.

Shipped quickly and safely. When I opened the box, the blue dial really amazed me like the photo I saw on the internet at the first time. Though I prefer the stainless bracelet more, it seems out of stock anywhere. I purchased a leather strap to replace the rubber strap instead. The blue ray just looks awesome with any kind of strap. This one is my favorite!

I bought the rubber strap version to save some money, as I was planning on adding a NATO strap. I must say, the rubber strap surprised me. It is far more attractive and comfortable than I thought. I still like the NATO strap I purchased for it more, but the rubber strap will be nice for a change. The watch itself is excellent. Pristine condition; accurate movement; great lume; bezel turns easily. This is the first time I have purchased from IslandWatch, and I am very impressed. I have heard nothing but nice things about the service, and am pleased to say that I can contribute to them myself.
