Orient 42mm Ranger Day and Date Automatic Watch with Sapphire Crystal #EM7N002W

Hello all. First, the watch is very accurate - less than a minute fast in three weeks (compared to an online atomic clock and other quartz watches). It has a very nice face, the fit and finish is very good and sizing was very easy (easier than the band on my Seiko 5 Speed Racer). However, the watch is 42.5 m.m. by 12 1/3 m.m., by comparison the Speed Racer is 38 1/2 by 10 1/2 m.m. and a Citizen Eco-Drive is 36 1/2 by 9 m.m. I never thought an extra 4 m.m. would make such a difference but it is enough to look too large on an average wrist. If I had tried in a retail store, I probably would not have bought it. The day button at 2 o'clock is kind of clunky, but if you use the watch on a daily basis, you just set once and forget. I use the Speed Racer for work and the Ranger on the weekend but I keep it wound by wearing both during the evening. BUT, it is a fine looking watch, I am really happy with the purchase. The bottom line... A keeper!!!

My purchase was smooth. My Orient Ranger arrived before the date expected. The watch is gorgeous. No complaints. I would recommend Island Watch to anyone seeking a good price for quality.

This is a beautiful timepiece, and at this price it's a bargain. The watch has a sapphire crystal, solid end links, and from what I read, it is fully made in Japan (if this even matters to you). The dial looks even better in person imo. There's a lot of detail and it has applied indices. And at 42mm I think it will fit most wrists nicely. There are a couple small drawbacks. It doesn't hack or hand wind, which is not really a huge deal and can't really be expected at this price point. Also, despite the bracelet having solid end links, it does feel a bit flimsy. I'm going to be putting it on a black or dark brown leather strap, so I think that will make the watch look and feel far better. Overall you won't be disappointed with this watch. It's great for every day wear.

I purchased the abv watch during your Black Friday sale. Excellent price and the watch arrived on time. As usual Orient is always up to par and the watch looks and runs great. You guys are my go too for all Orient purchases ( 3rd one). I also enjoy your YouTube videos.

Really happy with this purchase. I like the value this watch carries. The Hacking automatic movement, the Sapphire Crystal, and the general aesthetics make this watch a delight to own. I highly recommend this watch.

IT'S A NICE LOOKING WATCH BUT OTHER THAN THE SAPPHIRE CRYSTAL, THERE'S NOTHING TO JUMP AROUND ABOUT. THE BRACELET LEAVES A LOT TO BE DESIRED AND THE ROTOR FOR THE AUTO WIND IS NOISY. I REPLACED THE BRACELET WITH A NICE BLACK LEATHER STRAP AND I LIKE IT MUCH BETTER NOW.

Thank you Marc for the awesome Orient watch. You failed to highlight the playful silver aspect to the white dial which just draws you to look even more closely at that gorgeous dial. A beautiful watch, arrived in perfect condition from it's long voyage from New York to the UK. The Orient box is the best I've seen at this price point and the watch itself is a wonderful addition to the collection. Top notch service and please keep up the great work. 10 out of 10 to Long Island Watches and what a great watch the Orient Ranger (white dial) is. Paul
