Orient Equalizer Automatic Watch with Patterned White Dial #ERAL006W

This was my fourth watch purchased from Marc at Island Watch. His service is exceptional, and every watch I have bought has been exactly as described, and the prices are better then found anywhere else, also, he carries watches that you won't find in any retail store, at least in my town, and believe me I have searched every local jewelry store for miles around. Give Marc a call, I've talked to him and he seems to answer the phone himself and that's refreshing these days. The Orient Equalizer is better looking in person, runs about 10 seconds a day fast, but it's not broken in yet, I don't wear it every day. It is a quality piece, bigger then I thought from the pictures but it's a great fit and look. This is my second Orient by the way, a watch company that offers great build and quality, however it appears that they fly under the radar. Buy one from Island Watch. I can recommend them with confidence.

I'm a big fan of Orient Watches. I find they represent excellent value for the money. Island Watch offers Orient Watches at very competitive prices and I'm extremely happy with their Customer Service.

I have bought several watches, all Orient, from Long Island Watch, and as usual their prices and service have been exceptional. As for the watch itself, it is a tremendous value, bought for $69 though MSRP was $385 on the Orient USA website. I say "was" because I believe this item has been discontinued. The watch has an alluring textured white dial with large numbers at 12, 3 and 6 and a magnified date function at 9 0'clock. It is very interesting to look at, with it's large markers, black outline and red second hand. It is a very large and heavy watch, so unless you have a large wrist and don't mind the weight, it may be a bit much. Nevertheless, it is very attractive for casual use, without being gaudy. It has typical Orient accuracy for this movement, around +3 to +10 seconds a day. I bought one for my father as well, and he doesn't take it off.

This watch, the Equalizer, is a gem. PROS: A unique tonneau style case Wedge magnifier at the 9 o'clock position Multi-level face with a guilloche chapter ring Applied indices Clearly marked rehaut Solid end links with shoulders Dependable Orient auto movement CONS: Typical Orient clasp is just disappointingly tinny. If Orient would have put a decent deployant clasp on this, I wouldn't have had any reservations about that fifth star.
