Orient 21-Jewel Automatic Field Watch with 24-Hour Sub-Dial #ET0N003Y

Decided to purchase the 1st generation of this watch because I liked the darker markers with less lume. I would have liked hand wind and hacking but this is not a feature of the 1st gen. This is a good looking watch for the price. Band is decent quality and comfortable. Keeps time well. Very happy with my purchas. Mark was quick to respond to my question. Shipping was quick and watch arrived nicely packed and in perfect condition. Will definitely do business with him again without hesitation.

love the look of the cream dial. great everyday watch. i typically upgrade watch bands, but this leather strap compliments it perfectly. very pleased:)

I have been wearing a Casio Protrek solar for the last 10 years. It finally died and I was looking for a new watch. Prior to the Casio I had an Oris Automatic and wanted to get back to the mechanical watches I love. This new Orient Defender floored me when I opened the box. The build quality punches in a much heavier weight class than the money paid. Now the Gen 11 is out.... I will purchase one of them in another color. I had ordered the wrong band width for a spare and Mark sorted me before shipping. Well done Long Island. Add me to the loyal customer list.

I already had this watch in another color, and liked it enough to get a second! I don't have a particularly large wrist, so most large watches seem & feel too chunky, but this one feels better on my wrist for some reason. It feels less bulky on my wrist than the Orient diver watch I tried of a similar size. Great dial.

The Orient Defender is a fantastic first automatic watch for the beginning collector. The watch is gorgeous to look at. I went for the cream version, and I find it very attractive and unusual for a field watch (which have typically black dials). The leather strap is good quality for being the stock one. The leather makes the watch look a little too dressy, so I'm thinking to replace it with a NATO one. The watch keeps great time, it runs only a few seconds slowly every day. I will definitely buy again from Marc!

Great finish, beautiful cream dial, useful subdials, great value for the money. Good service and quick delivery. Marc's you tube videos are informative and enjoyable.
