Orient Neptune Dive Watch with Power Reserve and AR Sapphire Crystal #RA-EL0001B00A

Orient Neptune Dive Watch with Power Reserve and AR Sapphire Crystal #RA-EL0001B00A

The Neptune watch takes design cues from a number of classic Orient dive models. The hour markers take after the Ray, while the brushed steel hands are nearly identical to those on the Pro Saturation Diver. Each hour marker is defined by a thick luminous dot that’s surrounded by polished metal, which allows the dial to be visible in both daylight and in darkness. Additionally, the matte dial allows the hour markers and hands to stand out during the day. The bezel features a matte insert, and rotates uni-directional at 120 clicks. Like the other higher-end Orient divers, the Triton boasts a date display as well as a very useful power reserve indicator.

The size of the Neptune falls between the Mako and past M-Force watches at 43.4mm wide and 13.6mm thick. It bears the DIVERS 200M stamp on the dial and is compliant with the Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) for a Class 1 Diver watch, making it suitable for recreational SCUBA diving. It is powered by the Orient caliber 40N5A, the same automatic, hand-winding and hacking movement used in the Pro Saturation Diver. An anti-reflective sapphire crystal provides a clear view of the dial and helps guard against scratches. NOTE: We can only sell and ship this watch to the U.S. and Canada.

    Best in the field

I bought this in black. This watch is great. At this price range it's definitely an amazing deal. All the features you're getting, The power reserve (which is something most divers don't have for some reason) sapphire, hacking/winding, not to mention a movement used for a much more expensive watch, I couldn't be happier. It does have a little, tiny wobble in the bezel but I don't think that's something to complain about at this price point. I've seen some review of wobble in the crown when it's pulled all the way out mine honestly doesn't. The lume on this is also really nice. If I wake up in the middle of the night I can still see it even if it only saw the light for 30 min. It does feel heavy at first but I honestly like the weight of it. I feel even it definite top choice at this price or even worth looking the little extra over cheaper options.

    Great watch, great service

Had a good experience with blue Ray II i got last year, this is a higher quality piece, very accurate -2-3 seconds per day. Watch is beautifully finished, bracelet not as bad as some have reported although that is subjective. I will probably buy the Strapcode after my experience with the Hexad for my Samurai. Fast shipping as usual.

    Wonderful watch

I received this watch from Long Island Watch 4 days ago and am extremely pleased. I won't bore you with the tech data you all already know, but I want to point out a couple things you may find useful. 1) It wears just a hair larger than an SKX almost no difference at all. 2) The time keeping over 4 days is +3 seconds total which is amazing! Also, the movement is excellent and the reserve charges faster than any other watch I own. From almost dead you only have to put it on for an hour or so and it is topped off to full power. I am very happy with this and it will become my daily wearer. Does anyone know if they make a ceramic Bezel for the Triton?

    Great Watch

This is a terrific watch. Good: Price, sapphire crystal, movement, lume, look/feel, 200m water resistance, durability. Bad: bracelet, and the crown has quite a bit of "wobble" when it is pulled out fully to change the time. I swapped out the original bracelet with one from Strap Code, and it looks better than the original.

    Very sharp watch!!

The finishing is very nice and the engraving on the back adds a nice touch. The bezel action on the Triton is different from other watches I've owned and is very satisfying to use. A lot of people might complain about the pressed clasp, but it doesn't feel weak at all. I feel that Orient probably did this to keep the watch from feeling gigantic on the wrist. The watch absolutely has a heft to it, but it's not as big as I expected it to be, so the weight doesn't bother me. The movement keeps excellent time and the winding action is very rugged feeling as if the whole movement were an all-metal movement. Rotating the date has a very pronounced click that can be felt and heard as if there were haptic feedback on the watch. My son is going to be born this morning and I've chosen this watch as the one to wear when he's delivered this morning, so it's a special timepiece for me.
