A right-sized watch at 38.5mm suitable for dress or casual. The Domed crystal renders a more classic appearance. This particular blued hands variant was selected for its exceptional contrast and readability, all at a very reasonable price. This Orient Star model presents a handsome and valued addition to my collection.

Orient Star Classic with blue hands is easily the most "bang per buck" watch in it's price range. From it's eggshell case to its beautiful and aggressive dome crystal; it is one of the best retro-inspired watch under $500 in my opinion. Better yet, it is midsize with a case diameter of 38.5mm that fits perfectly on my tiny little 6.5 inch wrist. Pair it with a rust suede strap and you will have a watch that takes your breathe away every time you look down at it.

I bought this watch during the Black Friday sale of 2017. What a great deal it was. The watch is absolutely beautiful. The face is actually silver-ish, and shimmers in the light. The hands are a very deep blue, almost black, but becomes slightly more blue when hit directly by light. The bracelet is just fine, and looks like a high-grade stainless steel material. The power meter and hand winding feature are great. The watch almost never runs out of power even if I don't wear it for a day or so. It looks like it cost more than I paid - a lot more. I was wanted an Orient Star, and I was not disappointed!!

Although it looks a little small for my larger wrists (7.5"), I still appreciate it for it's subtle refinement, deep blue hands contrasting against the gorgeous white dial. It also has amazing functionality. Being an in-house and reliable automatic movement, the power reserve indicator is always a nice feature. Since this a dress watch through and through, the size is actually perfect. Well done, Orient Star!

This watch is really, really sweet. I put it on an ostrich leather strap but the bracelet it comes with is very high quality with solid links and end links. This watch even has drilled lugs (a real strap monster) I simply can't say enough great things about this watch. Buy it!

It's a beautiful dress watch that also dresses down very well. Arrived very quickly and at a great price.

Received the watch earlier than expect. Good service. This Orient Star Classic is solid built. I have no bother to measure the +/- seconds daily but the accuracy is absolutely good after wearing it for 2 weeks. Cheers
