Orient Star Seeker Automatic GMT Watch, Power Reserve, Sapphire Crystal #DJ00001B

The new Orient Star Seeker is powered by an Orient made 40P51, 22-jewel automatic (self-winding) movement that can be hand wound and has hacking capability. It also has a power reserve of 40 hours which can be monitored via a meter at 11:00 on the dial. It also features both 12 and 24 hour dials with the ability to track two time zones. Also, an inner rotating 24-hour scale allows you to track a third time zone. A quick-set date window is at 3:00 and the hands and hour markers are treated with luminous material for viewing in the dark. The 24 hour inner bezel can be rotated as can the independently adjustable red GMT hand. Orient has even included a scratch resistant sapphire crystal to make this a truly amazing value.

Quality product with notable service

Meticulous attention to detail in all facets of the watch. Quality surpasses the retail pricing. The Star GMT is equal in quality to comparable Swiss watches at twice the retail price. Equally important is that Long Island Watch service is outstanding. I've bought numerous watches from on-line merchants, and although there is competitive pricing, typically customer service suffers. In addition to adequate packaging, Island Watch securely wrapped the watch itself, thereby preventing movement within the display box and avoiding concealed type damage. Communications are accurate and immediate. This was my second purchase from them but it certainly won't be my last. Regardless of which watch you purchase, buy with confidence knowing that Long Island Watch will be attentive to your order and provide Customer Service that is all to lacking with many on-line merchants.

The Orient Star GMT has better balance and feel on the wrist than watches I own at 5 times the price. Exceptional build quality and an with an inhouse movement it may very well be the best watch value on the Planet. Fast shipping, great value and excellent customer service Island Watch Rocks!

Purchased this watch from longisland, service was great and the watch arrived promptly properly packed and showing no signs of damage to presentation box or watch. Watch looks better in the flesh, heavy and solid. GMT hand aligns perfectly, handwinds like butter and this piece keeps very good time at +3 to 4s per day. Would recommend this watch and longisland without hesitation.
