The Orient Capital is a classic dress style watch with a rich black dial offset with applied silver hour markers and hands. It features a slim 40mm stainless steel case with a domed mineral crystal and a solid case back. A sleek day and date window is at 3:00 and a small textured crown is provided to adjust the time and day and date. The watch is powered by an analog quartz movement, caliber HS911. A black alligator grained leather strap with a matching buckle closure secures the watch to your wrist. It is a really nice simple design.

    I have wondered why do I need another watch. This is my 3rd Orient from Island Watch. I try not to think too much about it. Only a person who likes watches can understand. I find Orients very attractive, reasonably priced and worth collecting. I don't compare them to my Swiss watches as they are a class on their own. I find that a little unfair. To me, they are beautiful. I purposely got this quartz watch as most of my watches are mechanical and I miss my quartz timepieces. This is a beautiful "vintage 1950 ish" looking one. A person asked me if it is an old watch. I think if the new looking band will be a little "distressed", then it will really look old but that is just my OCD self thinking. I really like this watch and enjoy rotating it with my other ones.

    Nice-looking watch, large face, thin, seems well-made. Leather strap looks a little cheap, maybe I just don't care for the shiny look.
