The Trident comes with a rugged 40mm stainless steel case with a matching solid link stainless steel bracelet with a deployant clasp. Inside the watch there is a very accurate Japanese quartz movement with a 10-year lithium power cell. The uni-directional rotating bezel is marked in five minute intervals with a luminous PIP at the 60 minute position. The screw-down crown is protected with tapered extensions on the side of the case. The dial features both a day and date readout at the 3:00 position.

There is a forged (screw-in) case back and the bracelet is secured to the case with solid screw bars (rather than push-pins). And, the black dial features Reactor's Never Dark™ Illumination to allow you to see the time in all lighting conditions. There is a hardened mineral crystal to resist scratches. It is a very solid watch that is built to last. The watch will come to you nestled inside Reactor's distinctive cylinder container.

Never Dark™ Illumination: is the first technology to combine the intense brightness of Superluminova with the multi-year longevity of tritium (tritium glows continuously without the need for charging via a light source), providing optimal illumination under all lighting conditions. Because it can take up to 30 minutes for the human eye to fully adjust to the dark, Superluminova's intense peak brightness makes a Never Dark™ watch easily visible during this initial period.

This can be even more important when moving repeatedly from light to dark (such as when going below deck on a boat during the day), as the Superluminova will continually recharge and the eye will not have time to adjust. In situations where the watch will remain in the dark for many hours, the tritium will remain visible for years, even if the watch is never returned to the light.
