Red Star Submarine, Hand Wind Mechanical Watch with 42mm Case #6448G-C

The Red Star Submarine watch features a Belarus 15-jewel, hand winding mechanical movement. Accuracy is rated at +25 to -5 seconds per day. The watch has a sand blasted stainless steel case that is 42mm in diameter and 11mm thick. The cream color dial features a white painted hands and black hour markers. The screw-in caseback features a rendering of a submarine.

The two-piece strap is green suede with matching stitching. The lug width is 22mm should you want to change out the strap at some point. Water resistance is 50 meters. Push-pull crown.

“I found the dial design interesting - red star at 12, anchor at 6 and a submarine image top center. The hand wind movement is very accurate on a daily basis (gains about 2 minutes a week if kept wound) but you only need to wind it if you are going to wear it. There is a good firm stop on the winding mechanism. The band is a nice heavy suede material and well stitched for years of comfortable wear. Overall a simple but great looking watch!”
