Seiko Prospex Fieldmaster Solar Watch by LOWERCASE #SBEP001

The Seiko Prospex SBEP001 is a new Fieldmaster watch designed by LOWERCASE. It has a Seiko Caliber S802 solar powered digital quartz movement that features a 5 month power reserve (when fully charged). It also has a power-save mode that can last up to 20 months. Accuracy of the movement is + or - 20 seconds a month. It has a black ion plated 49.5mm case with a black case shroud and a black uni-directional bezel (with luminous PIP). Functions include a timer, dual-time, world-time (44 Cities), and alarm (three-channel daily alarm).

The water resistant rating is to 200 meters. A date is shown in the digital display. The watch comes on a matching black silicone dive strap with buckle. Pushers are silvertone finish. It is a big watch but, it wears smaller due to the 49.9mm tip to tip measurement.

L.I.W. Didn’t Have It... But I Love Them Anyway!

Posted by Zippy D. Panhead on Apr 13th 2020

I ordered this but I subsequently received notice it wasn’t available. I Then ordered It from Seiko USA (for more money than the L.I.W. price) because I really wanted a digital tuna for knockaround wearing. Nice size and softer band. The timing ring has a glowing pip but there are no notched stops. Dual time but you can’t run your local time at 12H and the second zone at 24H (I wanted the secondary as true Zulu time while keeping my local on AM/PM). Not my favorite L.I.W. buy. Oh, why didn’t I get a Gen 2 Sumo from Marc when I could have...? He’s great! Really loved his lesson on aviator A,, B & C faces.

Posted by Ronald France on Feb 3rd 2020

I've just purchased my 4th watch from Marc. I'm a loyal, satisfyed customer. The products are always authentic and well represented, and Marc sets the bar for timely communication and excellent customer service.
