Seiko Black Dial Automatic Dress Watch with 38mm Case, and Sapphire Crystal #SARB033

The exquisite Seiko SARB033 is powered by the premium Seiko 6R15 caliber self-winding movement that can also be hand wound and hacked. It is the same caliber that powers most of the Seiko Prospex line of watches. The movement has a generous 50 hour power reserve. The case has a fine brushed finish and the black dial sports luminous hands and silvertone hour markers. A date display is shown at the 3 o'clock position. The stainless steel bracelet has a deployant clasp with a dual push-button release. A scratch resistant sapphire crystal is used along with an exhibition back that allows you to view the movement in action. Water resistant 100 meters. This is definitely a luxury range watch that is available at an affordable price. An excellent timepiece for sure.

A modern classic

The purchase experience was impeccable and easy. The watch really lives up to what you hear from it in reviews and forums, you can't go wrong with this piece. If I had to pick a weakness, it'd be that the clasp's micro-adjustments are not enough, at least for me. But it really is a strap monster, it just works with anything, so it's a minor inconvenience. I'd reccomend this watch and LIW to anyone.

The Sarb033 this watch grows on you every time you look at it slip it up on your wrist it's true beauty and watching that sweeping second hand and that beautiful movement it's wonderful this watch is an amazing dress watch I love this watch I wear it all the time it's my favorite go-to dress watch. I have taken the metal bracelet off. And substituted with a beautiful black crocodile strap. I can't say enough about this watch it's everything I've ever wanted and more. It keeps excellent time what should a man want and his personal jewelry and the perfect watch.

love the watch. only one small problem. I have a 7 inch wrist. two links out was way to tight and one out was to loose. no micro adjustment to speak of only two possible. island watch sent the watch out in a timely manner. Will be ordering more from them. MK

Discontinued so hurry...

Seiko announced earlier this year that the SARB033 would be discontinued so I thought I'd should snap one up as Long Island Watch had them in stock. The watch was posted quickly and is good looking, with a great movement and it suits so many different straps. My only hesitation had been the size as 38mm would wear quite small on my flat 7.25 inch wrists, however, it looks great! Very happy with the watch and the service from Long Island Watch. The only negative experience was FedEx messed around giving delivery dates that weren't met. Eventually the watch was delivered on a Friday, despite FedEx tracking telling me it would be delivered on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, stating it had been delivered on Thursday (it hadn't) and finally delivered to one of my neighbours on the Friday. Lesson learned: buy from Long Island Watch but don't use the FedEx delivery option! :)

Watch came as expected. Plastic still on it, with tags, new in box. Service was excellent, emails were answered within minutes of being sent! Would recommend to a friend.
