Seiko "Cocktail Time" Automatic Dress Watch with 40mm Case, and Hardlex Crystal #SARB065

Seiko "Cocktail Time" Automatic Dress Watch with 40mm Case, and Hardlex Crystal #SARB065

The exquisite Seiko SARB065, also known colloquially as "Cocktail Time", is powered by the premium Seiko 6R15 caliber self-winding movement that can also be hand wound and hacked. It is the same caliber that powers most of the Seiko Prospex line of watches. The movement has a generous 50 hour power reserve. The case has a polished finish and radiant textured dial silvertone hands and hour markers. A date display is shown at the 3 o'clock position. The black leather strap has a deployant clasp for quick on and off. A scratch resistant Hardlex crystal is used along with an exhibition back that allows you to view the movement in action. Water resistant to 50 meters. This is definitely a luxury range watch that is available at an affordable price. An excellent timepiece for sure.

AMAZING WATCH... Put your mind at ease...

Posted by Corey Fons on Apr 28th 2016

I worried a bit about the size of the case seeing that I normally wear 44mm watches but I have to say this watch is the PERFECT size. Some say it's sits high but I think it ass depth to the watch and I couldn't be happier. The pictures don't do the dial and hands justice. Truly happy with this order and LIW's customer service is superb. He answered all my email in a timely manner. I've bought 3 watches from him and I'm certain I'll buy 3 more.... at least.

Received the watch in a very timely fashion and have been super pleased with this purchase. Island Watch continues to impress. The Cocktail Time wears very well on the wrist and I have already received compliments on the watch's unique dial and strap. I would definitely recommend adding Cocktail Time to your watch collection!

    Cocktail Time

I travel a lot of business. I enjoy a nice cocktail in a classy hotel bar at the end of a long business day. Way classier than glancing at my iphone to see if I have time for another drink before heading off to a dinner appointment. This is the second watch I have ordered from Marc. I have already picked out a few more. Truly a very beautiful watch!

A favorite of the online watch forums for a reason

Stunning, well made, classy. Think Mad Men, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin with martinis, a time when men wore business suits and opened doors for strangers. The pictures do not do it justice. The watch looks blue in some light sources, and silver in others. Right now in my office by the window it is silver with a very slight blueish tint. Yesterday, on the drive home, the blue was more pronounced. It changes. If you are not familiar with mechanical watches this is not a "set it and forget it" watch. If you don't wear it over the weekend you will have to reset the time. When you do wear it, It might be off by a second or so per day. But, what is really cool about mechanical watches is that they are mechanical - they are filled with tiny gears, springs and weights and keep track of time through nothing more than the very precise movement of gears. It is the anti-smart phone. It is awesome. Google this watch, read the reviews, become obsessed, and then just cave in and buy it.
