My experience with Mark and Island Watch has been fantastic! He went the extra mile to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for - thank you! I read great things about him, now I experienced it first-hand. Thank you Mark - I'll be purchasing again :)

    Second SKX purchase

Posted by walter on Feb 17th 2018

I bought a 009 last year for myself. This is such an iconic watch and for good reason. It is really a timeless design. Seiko really nailed it on this one. It will never get old or dated to a particular trend. Although it measures 42 mm, it fit perfectly on my 7" wrist. Fit and finish are perfect and I guess I lucked out a bit on the regulation; 2 seconds plus per day! I bought my oldest son a 007 back in 2002 off of Ebay before I knew anything about the SKX. I bought it due to the $125.00 price for an automatic. I really thought the must be something sub-par cheap about it till I opened the package. In January, my youngest son was turning 22 and he wanted one. This is my latest purchase from Long Island. My son LOVES his new 007! All three of us have and SKX now. My oldest son's SKX is still running fine after 15 years. I asked for the Strap Code Jubilee for Christmas and the upgrade will most likely appear on my sons' watches too! Thanks Marc!

This is my first automatic and after much research I landed on the SKX. I absolutely love it. Great quality for an unbeatable price. It shipped to my home in perfect condition. Definitely buying from long island watch again.

    Great service/communication

Ordered a new Seiko to replace one I sadly lost. Wanted it asap for a trip I was going on, and received it in time (though I had to go and get it at the post office, but that's due to mail delivery being awful in my neighborhood) Love the watch, of course, and thanks again. Wearin' it right now!

    Amazing value!

I’m very pleased with not only the Long Island buying experience but also with the quality of the SKX007. I knew the jubilee would be hollow, rattling, and flimsy as Seiko often use low cost bracelets to keep prices down. It’s fine, I’m thrilled with the solid link oyster bracelet that I ordered along with the SKX007! I’ve also ordered a few different NATO straps to dress it down. I hope to order an angus jubilee soon as I love the look of a jubilee but want it to be quite robust.
