The SKX009 is essentially the SKX007 watch with a blue and red bezel (or Pepsi bezel as it is called). Many watch enthusiasts own both the SKX007 and the 009 version. Like the 007, the 009 is also quite easy to modify (should you want to do that). The watch features Seiko's well proven 7S26 automatic (self-winding) movement with a day and date display, highly luminous lumibrite treated hands and markers, a large screw down offset crown, uni-directional bezel, scratch resistant hardlex crystal and a solid etched, screw-down case back. The watch winds with the movement of your wrist.

    Bought my first automatic (SKX009) from Long Island Watch because I wanted to make sure I got the real deal. Marc's prices are right in line with Amazon, but on top of that, I knew I was getting an authentic Seiko. Customer service is great - he personally answered every question I had. His YouTube videos are so informative and I've learned so much. He has created a watch fanatic. I can't wait to buy my next one (Islander perhaps). No question I will be back. Thank you!

    I chose Long Island Watch for the purchase of my Seiko due to the good reviews and I have also watched Mark's informative videos. The watched came quickly and was in perfect condition. I will definitely due business with Long Island Watch again in the future.

    Another outstanding example of the underestimated Seiko. Bought specifically for use around and in water. The strap is just fine. Other options out there if you like but nothing wrong with OEM strap. Keeping excellent time and those who say some time pieces gain or lose a few seconds each day are clearly bored. Marc was kind enough to find a model with Spanish as the second language on the date wheel and was quick to answer any questions. It is a perfect compliment to my 007 model. The lume is the best I have seen. They must use some kind of radio active material from that Fukashima power plant. Many thanks to Long Island watch for their courtesy and professionalism. Buy with confidence!

    I have worn type watch for better then 30 yrs, when they break or need service I just buy a new one, they are a workhorse. Seiko Automatic dive watch with offset crown and rubber dive strap #SKX009K1 Skx009k1 200 meter

    Product needs no hype as it’s an SKX, however, this company and it’s owner are top notch. I won’t hesitate to purchase here again.
