The SKX009 is essentially the SKX007 watch with a blue and red bezel (or Pepsi bezel as it is called). Many watch enthusiasts own both the SKX007 and the 009 version. Like the 007, the 009 is also quite easy to modify (should you want to do that). The watch features Seiko's well proven 7S26 automatic (self-winding) movement with a day and date display, highly luminous lumibrite treated hands and markers, a large screw down offset crown, uni-directional bezel, scratch resistant hardlex crystal and a solid etched, screw-down case back. The watch winds with the movement of your wrist.

    I have watched Mark and his video reviews for some time now and finally purchased a Seiko SKX009 from IW. First the watch. I have several very expensive watches (Rolex and Pan) and I was not expecting that much from a $200 watch. Well I was wrong. Way exceeded my expectation on quality and looks. Second the service. I can not express how responsive IS is to customer questions. Great service. The watch was shipped fast, and arrived here one day early.

    I really enjoy the watch. The watch was priced well and shipped on time. I'm not sure if the watch was shipped in the original Seiko box. The box doesn't have a label on it and is too small to hold the instruction manual.

    the watches are commodicized, by which I mean they are available everywhere. The only thing that stands out is that the watch keeps excellent time, picking up 15 sec every week. Island watch delivered the watch on time and skillfully packed. Fortunately I did not need any special service.

    I want to take this time to thank you for my Seiko 009,that l purchased recently and couldn't be happier, starting from the shipping n receiving well packaged and the ordering of it, Spot On!! This was a birthday gift for our son who is currently serving active duty as a Marine ,he came home before been deployed.
