Seiko Turtle Prospex Automatic Dive Watch with Black Dial and Silicone Dive Strap #SRP777

Bought my first in March 1977, just gave up 12/19. Long Island watch had the direct replacement, purchased and extremely pleased with how quickly I received. I can only hope this one last longer than I do.....:)

This is the first new watch I have bought in ten years and the first I have bought online. I am really disappointed that the chapter ring, dial, and bezel insert are misaligned to each other. For a watch in this price range with the Seiko name on it this should not happen. I have less expensive watches that are put together with more care than this watch. Was going to return it for a refund but for me it is easier to fix the problems instead of returning it, but I will have to spend an hour or two and press out the crystal and install the chapter ring correctly and try and remove the bezel insert with out damaging it and glue it in correctly. This is something that the factory should have done in the first place! I am going to think twice about ever buying a new Seiko or any other watch before seeing it first.

I've bought two from them so far and I'm sure I'll be buying more in the future. Fair prices, great shipping and great customer service. You can't ask for much more than that.

I am very happy with the black turtle sent to me by Marc. He responds promptly to queries and ships quickly. Once before, I had a problem with a watch that was shipped to me. Marc quickly shipped me a replacement. He doesn't have the lowest prices on the internet, but he is the most reliable. Also, his YouTube channel is fantastic, especially the WatchAndLearn series. It inspires a lot of confidence in him because he clearly knows (and loves) watches.

I purchased this Seiko Turtle and a Angus Jubilee bracelet upgrade a month ago and was very satisfied with the experience. The price was very competitive with the other sites, the shipping was free and the watch/band arrived in two days. Definitely will look here first for any of my future watch purchases. I received my watch quickly and packaged well. Both were in perfect condition and exactly as advertised. Marcs youtube video review of the Seiko Turtle showed all aspects of the watch and gave me a good representation of what it would look like. I will, and already have, purchase from Island Watch again. Marcs customer service is second to none.

I’d been searching for a solid, day-in-day-out tool watch as my first mechanical watch. Scoured the internet- blogs, reddit, youtube, etc. Came across the SEIKO SRP777, but skipped it because of its case shape. I went to my local mall to check out a Tissot they had in stock and in my periph was the Seiko Turtle. Asked to try it on, and after, I couldn’t get it out of my head. Took a couple more weeks to save up, but on recommendation from The Urban Gentry’s TGV, I purchased the SRP777. It’s my gift to mark my wife and I’s 5 year anniversary.
