This is a new version of the Seiko automatic dive watch that is nicknamed Samurai. It features a Seiko 23 jewel automatic (4R35) movement, a date display, highly luminous hands and markers treated with Lumibrite for awesome low light visibility, a screw down offset crown, a uni-directional diving bezel with luminous PIP at 12:00, Hardlex mineral crystal and a solid etched, screw-down case back. The 4R35 Seiko movement is self-winding and it can be hand wound and hacked. The movement has a 41 hour power reserve.

Comes on a stainless steel bracelet with a push-button deployant clasp. The hands are a new style patterned after the hands found on the Seiko Monster series of watches.

    Speedy delievery, even though I live in Europe. Positive! Boxing could’ve been done better considering the long way it had to travel. Watch had shifted a bit in the box, but no major bumps and knocks. The watch had some issues, specifically wasn’t the chapter ring aligned. Not a major cost to get it fixed, but annoying nonetheless. All in all a C - from me.

    Another great Seiko re-release

    Seiko just keeps hitting home runs with these re-releases of old models. The Samurai has square lines and shape that bring your eye to the orange dial. The bracelet that Seiko used on these is great and has their positive clasp. The time keeping is spot on for this movement.

    Very pleased with this orange dial Samurai model and the service received from Island Watch. A solidly built watch that offers real value for money - definitely a keeper!
