Seiko Save the Ocean Prospex Turtle Automatic Dive Watch with Silicone Dive Strap #SRPC91

This is a new Seiko automatic dive watch that has been nicknamed Turtle due to its cushion shape case. The watch is based on the very popular 6000 range of vintage Seiko dive watches. This new model is part of the new Save the Ocean collection. Part of the proceeds from the sale of this collection will be donated to the non-profit Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Center that raises awareness of ways to preserve and protect the planets waters and endangered marine life. It has a distinctive graduated blue dial with a texture that resembles the surface of water. This is offset with blue bezel that has a lighter blue hue that defines the first 20 minutes.

The SRPC91 features a Seiko 24 jewel automatic (4R36) movement, a date display, highly luminous hands and markers treated with Lumibrite for awesome low light visibility, a screw down offset crown, a uni-directional diving bezel with luminous PIP at 12:00, Hardlex mineral crystal and a solid etched, screw-down case back.

The 4R36 Seiko movement is self-winding, but it can be hand wound. 200 meter water resistance. The watch comes on a black silicone rubber dive strap. 45mm diameter case. It includes manual and a Seiko box.

I love this watch. My favorite Seiko. Super comfortable design and gorgeous details. Truly looks like the water. Rubber strap is extremely nice and the most comfortable rubber strap Iâ€™ve ever worn. Iâ€™m usually not a fan of rubber straps, but this one competes with my NATOs.

Extremely confortable watch with cushion case. Fits perfect on my 7" wrist. I love the gradient blue-black dial. Bezel feels great and is easy to grip.

Always wanted a dive watch and with a portion of the proceeds going to a good cause I figured this was the perfect choice. I found Long Island Watch on youtube and I knew to buy from Marc. Communication and shipping was fast and the watch did not disappoint. Beautiful blue and keeps accurate time.
