The Seiko SUP239 model is a beautiful dress watch with a Mother of Pearl dial that has 22 sparkling diamond accents on the face of the case surrounding the dial. It features sword style goldtone hands and Roman numerals at 12, 9, 3, and 6:00 on the dial. It has square stainless steel case with a stainless steel bracelet (fold-over clasp). The watch is powered by a solar powered quartz movement that recharges when exposed to light. (no need for battery changes).

Just Stunning!

Been looking at this piece for a while on IW. Christmas was the right time to present it to my wife. It shows great quality of construction and assembly from the timepiece to the bracelet and took the first solar charge effortlessly. No more battery changes! Two specific surprises worth mentioning...first, it is just stunning with the MOP dial and contrasting hands. Very easy to read for a smaller size. The bracelet is solid stainless with a very subtle gold contrast on the inner links that is best seen in person to appreciate. Second surprise, it self-set the correct time after solar charge! I did not see this feature mentioned in the description or owners guide.
