The Squale 1521-026-LUME is a 500 meter professional diving watch with a precision self-winding Swiss movement.

The 1521 (series) is a classic diving watch in its most elegant form. It is a popular design that has available for almost 40 years. It is regarded as one of the most important diving watches of the 1970`s and a template for the perfect diving watch. The design of this watch was made by Charles von Büren (founder of Squale) and main priority was to create an elegant yet robust watch that could live up to the high expectation of professional divers. No thrills and purely functional in every detail.

The Squale 1521 is a perfect example of the form follows function philosophy. Details like the case-shape that protects the recessed crown. The grippy uni-directional bezel with the minute markers for save operation and easy time measuring. It is very comfortable to wear and has a subtle presence on the wrist.

It is powered by a Swiss Made Elabore grade Sellita SW-200-1 automatic movement for accuracy and reliability in the hardest conditions. The stainless steel case is a comfortable 42mm in diameter and and it features a highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and it has a water-resistance of 500 Meters.

This new version has a fully Super-LumiNova treated dial. The hands and hour dots are black to allow the perfect contrast with the dial in night vision. The markers at six, nine and twelve o’clock are orange to add some additional clarity. The black rubber dive strap is a special version of the Squale Tropic. It has a patterned texture that is very appealing and it compliments the overall look of the watch.
