Inspired by cockpit instruments, the Techne Goshawk model 411.152 is a cool looking pilot watch with a 41.4mm diameter black PVD 316L stainless steel case. There is a 24-hour sub-dial at 9:00 that stands out visually due to the bright orange luminous hand. The 24-hour sub-dial lets you view both military and standard 12-hour time. It can also act as an AM to PM indicator.

The watch is powered by the superb 21-jewel Miyota 8217 self-winding automatic movement. The hands and hour markers are luminous filled for reading time in the dark. The watch is ISO certified for anti-magnetism and water resistance (to 50 meters). The watch has an anti-reflective sapphire crystal and it is fitted with a oiled calf leather strap with contrasting stitching.

    Excellent Watch and Service from Island Watch!

    A unique pilot watch design inspired by the cockpit mission timers and clocks from 1950s era U.S. fighter aircraft. Excellent Lume, very readable dial and reliable movement. I have purchased half my watch collection from Island Watch and I am very happy with their reasonable prices and prompt (usually 2-day) delivery.

    Great watch, but...

    This is a great looking watch, and the watch itself is nicely made and looks and feels high quality. However, the band that ships with this watch detracts from the overall quality feel of the watch. It seems the price of the watch was lowered but so was the quality of the watch band. The band has a cheap vinyl, plasticky feel to it and the buckle could have been made from a paper clip it's so thin and cheap. Get the watch but be prepared to order a high quality band separately to go with it.
