Techne 38mm Merlin Quartz Aviator Watch with Onion Crown and Small Seconds #249.053

The Techne Merlin model 249.053 is classic size aviator watch with a 38mm diameter forged 316L stainless steel case. The watch is powered by an accurate Seiko VD78 quartz movement. A second register is at the 6:00 position on the dial and a minutes scale is on the outer portion of the black dial. The watch is ant-magnetic to 1,600 A/m. Water resistance is 50 meters. The watch is fitted with an oiled calf leather strap and a stainless steel buckle.

    Great entry-level Aviator style watch

    I've had this watch for a few months now, and enjoy wearing it almost daily. It is well made and keeps accurate time. It is lighter in weight than a standard automatic watch, and also fits well under a dress shirt or sweater. I recommend this watch as a great entry-level aviator style watch for around $100.

    Second watch I've purchased from LIW. I usually have a handful of questions before I buy anything, I'm just wired that way. The staff are great at getting back in a timely manner. Grant selection at value prices with fast delivery. You can't beat that !!

    Very nice! Slightly domed crystal, with no distortions or aberrations. Total vintage military/adventurer vibe. Beautiful wooden box, like the old marine deck chronometers. Really well done, interesting instruction booklet. Incredible presentation - could be a perfect graduation gift; it's that good!
