Q Timex Reissue of the Falcon Eye 38mm Stainless Steel Bracelet Watch #TW2T80800ZV

Following on the heels of the Q Timex 1979 reissue, the Q Timex Falcon Eye adds some two-tone refinement to the Q Timex series. Reissued for today, Timex recreated every detail – a period-correct woven stainless-steel bracelet, functional battery hatch, two-tone case, luminescent paint and a striated electric-blue dial. The result is a refined watch retaining every ounce of soul and character from the era that inspired it.

The unique battery hatch allows you to change the watch battery without the need to see a jeweler. You just use a coin to fit in the caseback slot and twist to remove and replace the battery. The reissue features true-to-the-era woven stainless-steel bracelet, luminescent paint, and a modern quartz movement.

The case size is 38mm diameter x 12mm thick. Lug width is 18mm. Water resistance is 50-meters. The crystal is acrylic (like the original) and it comes on stainless steel bracelet with a self-adjustable clasp.

Q Timex Falcon Eye

Beautiful watch for the price. The bracelet is good enough, not much of a hair-puller for me, but I got an after market two-tone to go with the watch face. The only problem I've had with it is that while the date quickset changes well, the day quickset doesn't work, so to set the day, you have to advance the hands until the day wheel indicates correctly. But all in all, it's a quartz watch, so changing the day is rarely if ever needed. I love the wave-pattern dial. It really comes alive in person.
