Powering the watch is the Made in Japan Miyota 8205 movement. The 8205 is an automatic movement that handwinds and hacks, and has a power reserve of 40 hours. As it is a vertical day configuration, there is only one language on the day wheel (English). The 39mm case is just 13mm thick (13.5mm including the dome of the sapphire crystal) and a very cozy 47mm lug to lug. A screwdown crown ensures a full 200 meters of water resistance.

Instead of a traditional dive timer bezel, we have included a bi-directional dual time bezel, which is a great way to track a second time zone. The insert is ceramic, so it resists scratching. Telling the time is a snap with syringe style hands with accented color tips.

Securing it to your wrist is a matching black rubber strap with purple keepers, and a bonus nylon strap in the same color scheme is included. Both straps have quick release spring bars to allow for quick changes with no tools.

If you desire a bracelet for your watch, we also offer a matching bracelet. It tapers from the 20mm lug width to 18mm at the 4 position micro-adjust clasp. The bracelet is solid link, and solid endlink, and is easily sized with an included screwdriver. The H-links are brushed on the tops and side, with a note of high-polish on the top and bottom edges of the center links. This provides a bit of visual ‘pop’ as your wrist moves. The bracelet also uses quick release spring pins.

Sophie Bonnaffee represents the power and academic rigor that distinguishes LSU Volleyball. As a freshman for the 2024-25 season, Bonnaffee brings her talents to the Tigers after an outstanding prep career at Archbishop Hannan High School in Covington, Louisiana, where she earned three state championships and was named state championship MVP twice. Her exceptional high school performance included 662 kills (5.3 per set), 372 digs (3.0 per set), 70 aces, and 25 blocks across her career, with her dominant play catching the attention of LSU coaches during her final state championship victory. Bonnaffee made an immediate impact at LSU during her freshman season, appearing in 53 sets over 18 matches while serving 11 aces and recording 11 digs and three assists, including a stretch of four consecutive matches with an ace. Her academic excellence has been recognized with selection to the 2024-25 First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll, maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or above while competing at the highest level.
