This Vostok-Europe is a SPECIAL EDITION chronograph watch in honor of celebrated aerobatic pilot, Jurgis Kairys. He was born in Lithuania and is considered by aviators everywhere as the world's greatest living aerobatic pilot. He also has designed and built some of the most successful planes for stunt flying ever constructed. This special, very limited edition Vostok-Europe (based on the Expedition North Pole 1 case) honors Kairys and is a must-have for the extreme collection of any Vostok-Europe watch enthusiast.

The watch is powered by 6530 Miyota quartz chronograph movement that has a sixty second sub-dial and a sixty minute stopwatch sub-dial. The large seconds hand is set in motion when you engage the chronograph stopwatch function. Special Note: The second hand "sweeps" similar to a mechanical movement and is more precise for elapsed time measurement. Technically, Miyota used fine-tooth “velvet wheel” for turning of the second hand – as is traditionally used in all mechanical chronographs.

Includes a semi-domed (ant-reflective) 4.5mm thick mineral crystal, a 316L surgical grade black PVD stainless steel case, a screw-in crown, and SuperLuminova treated hands sube-dials, and hour markers. The watch has a Jurgis Kairys signed black dial with a date display at 3:00. 200 meter water resistance. Comes with 3 interchangable straps. One leather strap aviator style rivets at the lugs, a silicone strap, and a NATO ballistic strap (not shown in pictures). 24mm lug width.
