LIMITED EDITION 000/150
WATCHMAKING IS ART, AN OBJECT OF EMOTION
Conceived by legendary French designer Alain Silberstein, this timepiece explores a marine and symbolic visual language shaped by primary colors, geometric forms and applied marine-inspired details. Animated by YEMA’s micro-rotor Manufacture calibre CMM.20 and housed in a black DLC Grade 5 titanium case, it brings together mechanical precision and artistic expression in a distinctly graphic composition.
000/150 COLLECTOR'S EDITION
This exclusive, one-time limited edition brings together fine watchmaking and Alain Silberstein’s singular artistic vision in a distinctly collectible creation. Limited to just 150 pieces, the case-back of each is engraved with a unique Limited Edition number.
WHEN ART TAKES TO THE SEA
Known for bringing a distinctive artistic language to watchmaking, Alain Silberstein composes this dial through colour, shape and marine symbolism. Here, a red hour hand with a buoy-like profile, a light blue minute hand and a yellow anchor-shaped seconds hand give the display its marine character. The deep blue grained dial recalls a sandy surface, while its blue tone nods to the sailors and maritime world that inspired the piece.
At 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock, Alain Silberstein introduces international maritime signal flags that spell out YEMA. More than a graphic flourish, they give the dial a coded naval identity and reinforce the sense that each element has been chosen as both a functional marker and a symbolic sign.
Applied markers rise above the dial surface and, together with luminous details, add depth, relief and presence by day and at night.
DUAL CROWN GRADE 5 TITANIUM CASE
Conceived by Alain Silberstein as part of the watch’s overall visual language, the 40 mm Grade 5 titanium case is finished in black DLC with a microblasted surface that gives it a more matte, architectural presence. Its proportions remain controlled at 11 mm thick, while the 44.5 mm lug-to-lug keeps the profile compact and balanced on the wrist.
The construction has been carefully resolved so the lugs feel integrated rather than added on, creating a cleaner transition between case and strap and reinforcing the fluidity of the design. The result is graphic, but disciplined.
The dual-crown layout plays an important role in that balance. It gives the case its symmetry and character while preserving genuine utility: the upper crown, highlighted in blue, operates the internal rotating bezel, while the lower crown is used to set the time and wind the calibre.
A CASE BACK THROUGH SILBERSTEIN’S LENS
The sapphire exhibition case back reveals YEMA’s CMM.20 micro-rotor Manufacture calibre through a composition shaped by Alain Silberstein’s graphic language. A red oscillating weight, an anchor in yellow gold created through a glass metallization process, and a black DLC circular brushed caseback extend the marine identity of the watch onto its reverse side.
Rather than serving as a purely technical display, the caseback continues the visual story of the piece. Color, symbol and mechanics come together in a composition that makes the movement part of the artwork itself.
ULTRA-BRIGHT 3D SUPER-LUMINOVA
Light plays an essential role in Alain Silberstein’s work, and on MARINE 2, that continues after dark. The hands were designed to hold a maximum amount of Super-LumiNova for night reading, while the raised markers bring both volume and brightness to the dial, preserving the watch’s graphic identity in low light. The luminous elements rise from the dial as true three-dimensional forms, creating relief, contrast and a more sculptural reading of time. On the indexes side, the 3D billight blocks and the flag appliques are both specified at 0.8 mm in height, with the flags slightly domed and lacquered so they appear to float above the dial surface. Rather than reducing the watch to a simple glow effect, this luminous construction extends its visual language into darkness, where color, form, and marine symbolism give way to a more graphic nocturnal pattern.
TWO PREMIUM FKM RUBBER STRAPS
Each timepiece is delivered with two premium FKM rubber straps in black and red, fitted with a Grade 5 titanium deployant clasp finished in black DLC with a microblasted surface.
